About the Nationally recognized 6 month Multi-Skilled Operating Room and Surgical Tech Program
6-Month Course Description
This nationally recognized tuition-free accelerated distance learning 6-month surgical tech program is offered to women in the US. Throughout the 6-months program, all students, whether local or distance, will receive the same instructional, didactic and clinical training under closely monitored supervision.
All registered students are required to participate in a mandatory 3-week “Surgical Tech Boot Camp” before beginning clinical rotations. Due to the accelerated nature of this program, it’s important for all students to have good time management skills and be extremely self-motivated to experience educational success through the Woman Survival Academy.
Before being accepted into the 6-month surgical tech program, all applicants must: be at least 18 years of age, must be a graduate of an accredited High School or high school equivalent (GED). students can focus all of their learning on course-specific material right from the start.
6-Month Course Schedule
- Mandatory 3-week “Surgical Tech Boot Camp” for all surgical tech students.
- After the boot camp is completed, weekly training for the remainder of the course consists of online-class didactic instruction (including lectures, quizzes, tests, and modules), while clinical rotations, occur.
- Students’ clinical rotations begin once the Surgical Tech Boot Camp lab training is complete.
- Can I take this program from an state. YES YOU CAN? Please note that all distance learning students are accepted into this program based on your ability to participate in clinical’s at pre-approved clinical sites in their area of residence and program requirements.
