What is a Multi-Skilled Healthcare Technician?
Multi-skilled Health Care Technicians are professionals who perform a variety of tasks at a hospital, from working in labs and offices to helping patients one-on-one. They work in different clinical roles, including nurse’s aide, phlebotomist, obtaining blood samples from patients by capillary or venipuncture, EKG technician and more.
This is a blended continuing education and certification pathway program including a self-study portion and an instructor-led classroom also hands-on skills session. The self-study portion must be completed prior to attending the in-class portion. (Allow approximately 90 hours to complete the self-study portion). Upon successful completion of this pathway program, you will receive a certificate of completion from a licensed school and sit for the same day National Certification Exam which are valid for two years.
